Mounir Eddib laat zien dat hij als kunstenaar blijft zoeken, blijft graven, blijft twijfelen, blijft bouwen en bouwen, aanscherpen en aanscherpen. Hij heeft er in 2024 de Henriëtte Hustinx Prijs mee gewonnen.

Mounir Eddib stood out with his series of paintings and spatial installations in which he interweaves personal stories with the history of his family and surroundings. Materials from his Moroccan background and the Limburg mining industry play a significant role in his work. The jury particularly praised his ability to combine emotion and experimentation: "His work immediately captivates and encourages reflection," the jury stated. "Mounir continues to challenge and innovate himself."
